Kolkata, the city that marks the beginning of our quest to fight hunger. Through weekly food drives, it became apparent that some areas and groups of people are deprived of the very basic necessity: food, receiving only one meal each day despite working all day. To combat hunger and malnutrition, Team Ekya Kolkata has therefore committed to reaching out to all those genuine locations and delivering meals on a regular basis. Along with this, the team assumes responsibility for ensuring the growth and advancement of Kolkata's orphanages and shelter homes.
